What Causes Severe Back Pain And Swollen Abdomen Despite Suffering From Vulvar Hematoma?

Last week I injured myself and had a vulvar hematoma. I went to the E.r. And they didn t do any tests. I was told if I had pain in my back or was peeing blood to go see a doctor. I don t pee blood but my back hurts all the time, I have sharp pains in my left leg and my abdominal is swollen. I went to see a doctor and they just gavee more pain medicine and muscle relaxers. Is there anything else I should be worried about?

Swollen abdomen has the following causes:
1) Cirrhosis of liver
2) Congestive cardiac failure
3) Portal hypertension
4) Kidney failure
5) Cancers of abdominal organs
So, you need to undergo:
1) Thorough clinical examination
2) Ultrasound imaging of abdomen and pelvis
3) ESR
4) Complete blood picture
5) Kidney and liver function tests

The following might be causes of your back pain:
1) Lumbar spondylitis
2) Lumbar disc degeneration
You need to consult a physician regarding abdominal swelling for a specific diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
