What Causes Severe Back Pain Despite Taking Ultracet?

Hi!! My wife is sufferiing from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is 25 years old. She is on Folvate daily once, Clacimax K2 plus daily once and Methotrixate weekly once. Since last week she is suffering from heavy back ache above the buttock region. Rheumatologist told that it is because of RA and its normal and prescribed T. Ultracet for 1 week daily twice. But she is taking Ultracet daily once at night as she is feeling guddiness and vomiting sensation after taking it. Even after taking ultracet is not relieved of her pain. We are very scared. Please please help us in this regard.

Hi,

The pain Of rheumatoid arthritis is due to inflammation of joints and it does not reduce dramatically, takes its own time. The time would be shorter with rest to joint and medicines taken in time ,regularly.In complete dose may not help.

f she has side effect she has is known to occur in early days of course. She can take pill of Ranitidin 150 mg with the medicine. This will reduce the side effects. Let her visit her doctor if the side effects are non tolerable (for change of medicine)/In case the pain is not at all relieved after the course, go for follow up after the course for further advice.
