What Causes Severe Backache After Receiving A Kenalog Injection?

I had a kenalog steriod injection on 5/24/2017 in my left hip. I have been experiences severe pain in my back and in both hips that has gotten progressively worse. I have had two previous injections 6 months apart and had no issues with those. Can I be reacting to the injection almost 30 days later?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Good day and thank you for posting this question. No, the backache is not from the kenalog injection. The pain could be due to Musculoskeletal pain. I will suggest you take Acetaminophen for the pain. And you do a full blood count, ESR (erythrocytes sedimentation rate) and X-ray of the back.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
