Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It all depends on where the shot of painkiller is given to you. Sometimes, it hit the bone then it is more painful.

Since painkiller is given so it takes time to render its effect. Even your pain will go so you need to bear the pain for some time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
