What Causes Severe Backache And Anxiety Be Treated?

I am suffering back pain they say its muscle spasm I was given muscle relaxers and then I take 800ib the pain has been over 5 days now. so I called my back doctor which I m having surgery on the 11th getting a lumbar microsurgery and he gave me hydroco/apap 5-325 mg for pain right now with my muscle spasm I cant do anything the pain is so intense. so question I have is I have severe anxiety I take meds for also am I going to be ok taking this med he gave me without having anxiety I don t take meds that well without them flaring up my anxiety. there is a lot of pain meds I can not take but I have never had these or herd of them. I m just afraid I m going to have bad anxiety if I take this but I need some pain relief

Hi,

The sudden anxiety is partly due to severe pain. If Hydrocodone is not working then pain killers like Etoricoxib can be tried. The MR formulation will help to reduce the pain. For relief of anxiety Pregabalin or Gabapentin can be used. These drugs will help in reducing pain too.
