Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have sweeping pain that feels like broken glass is inside my body. Pain starts from the left side-shoulder, goes to the right and back again until my whole body begins to hurt. Episodes last up to 4 hours. neuro and pcp cannot come up with a conclusive answer as to why. This has been happening off and on for over a year
If you have pains and aches all over body, it may be due to some infection, illness or any medicines you are taking. However, if all these reasons have been excluded, then some of the cause, which may result in body aches may be stress, lack of sleep and dehydration of body. Hence, in my opinion, if you have already consulted a neurologist as well as your PCP, then you may be advised to consult a psychiatrist for your problems and treatment done, if needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
