Hi.I have bowel spasms that mimic labour pains. I have been travelling, had diarrhoea for a few days after coming home and then it settled but now I have quite severe spasms when I go to the toilet whether it be for urine or solids. Should I go to the doctor. Tried to get an appointment but couldn t get it because now Friday and have appointment for early Monday. Does this sound like I should go earlier, like Sat/Sun for treatment?Thank you
Hi, It seems that you might be having gastroenteritis due to some food poisoning. This might lead to intestinal colic producing spasmodic abdominal pain. Take anti spasmodic medicine like Meftal spas or Cyclopam for pain. Go for one course of ofloxacilin, metrogyl medicine course for 3-5 days. Take light food and take plenty of water. Ok and take care.
