What Causes Severe Burning Ear Pain That Spreads To Neck And Shoulder?
Hi I have been having a lot of pain behind and just under my right ear for about 3 months. I wake up with burning pains with pins and needles inside my ear. I find it hard to wear my glasses as it hurts the bone at the back of the ear. The pain spread to the back of my neck and shoulder. Seen the doctor twice, he can not find anything abnormal. He prescribed me 10 mg of amytriptyline nocte. Can you please help

hello. the type of pain you are describing , seems to be neurological and amytriptyline is a good drug for it. could you please tell me if any ENT evaluation/CT scan/blood sugar testing was don for you and if yes, what were the reports. thanks
