Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Burning Pain In Right Toes In A Slipped Disc Patient?
I have burning ,throbbing pain in my right toes.not the big toe. I have been checked for gout and I do not have it . I have three bludging discs in my lower back. Could this cause the pain? Three Advil will give me relief, but how often should I take three at a time?
From your description I am of the opinion that some neurolical damage is at the core for this issue of burning pain in toes.
Do you have diabetes? if yes they are the most implicated cause for peripheral nerve damage and this issue.
In you case ,your slipped disc may also be culprit because of the motor damage they have down.Mecobalamin 1500 mcg is advised daily for healing along with pyridoxine.
Advil (Ibubrufen) will help to reduce the sympyom but not treat the disease. should not be take non very large amounts. Some nerve decompression at the site of slipped disc may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
