What Causes Severe Calluses In The Hands?

My son is 37 and a Black man in fairly good health. He is a machinist and has severe callouses on his right hand. He says that they have a core in each of them and they go to the bone. What clues he have He says he has had them for at least two years and they look very dark in the joint of each finger on the palm side.

Hello,

He may be having mechanical hands with callous formation. It may be due to excessive friction and ciornification.

If he developed pain he may need salysilic acid cream of local application with moisturizer cream.

If symptoms not improved need to surgical excision of the callous. Pease consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
