Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Chest Pain And Migraine After Taking Loette?
I starting taking Loette on the 16th of August, in the morning, this is also the day I was meant to get my period, it s now five days later , is there a chance I could be pregnant , or is this normal? Also getting the loette side effects like severe chest pain, migraines, weakness, dizziness, things like that.
Loette is a birth control pill containing Levonorergestrel and ethyniloestradiol. It is supposed to start it when you see your periods are in. However, you started the day you thought your periods would come but without noticed them.
If started in this way, this pill is a combination hormonal therapy, will delay your periods, explaining why you are not having your periods even 5 days later than your due date.
At this point, I recommend to consult with your gynecologist in order to reevaluate your case and reschedule another treatment strategy for you.
Hope it helped! Dr.Albana
