What Causes Severe Chest Pain And No Bruising After A Fall?

Hi, nine days ago I had high impact blow to chest. 25/30ft jump into the sea wearing a bulky buoyancy aid. X ray for broken ribs negative. Intense pain still. Can you explain why I have no bruising appearing yet? Terrible chest pain on and off, which resembles heart attack, however my gp done ECG an said it didn t show any concern. All this pain with nothing to show for it, not even a bruise! I sort of half belly flopped , and met an incoming wave swell. Also managed to smack myself in the face splitting lip just to round things up. I m sorry to waste your time, I haven t the money for an answer.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hey after reviewing your query i think you are having muscular pain. You can have muscular pain without any bruising.
And in general chest muscles causes more unbearable pain.
I would recommend you using Nuberol Forte 1 tablet three times daily for 7 days. Tablet. Diclofenac 50mg 3 times daily for 7 days. Capsule. Omeprazole 40mg once daily before breakfast for 7 days.

You can apply brufen gel locally to help with pain.

Get well soon.
