I was playing football without any equipment and I took a big blow to the chest. I was able to finish the game although I felt weaker than usual. Now (after) my diaphragm hits when I make any movement that involves my chest. No pain breathing but if I laugh or cough I feel pain

As per your query you have severe chest pain while coughing which occurs after football injury to chest area, there are possible chances of injury to ribs, contusions and bruises. I would suggest you to take it in a serious way. You should visit Pulmonologist once and get it examined. You should get X-ray chest done along with pulmonary function tests to find out exact level and extent of infection. Take cough expectorants. You should take painkiller Ibuprofen along with cough expectorants. Avoid any cold, hot and spicy food and take diet rich in multivitamins. You should take steam inhalation as well.
