What Causes Severe Chest Pain With Tickly Cough And Greenish Yellow Phlegm?
I have severe chest pain that has been present a week. It is just behind my breast and goes from side to side. I have a wracking tickly barking cough and yellow/ green phlem. I have astma . My doctor said I was fine when I saw him yesterday! I cough on and off all day long and it maes me sick too.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe chest pain with tickly cough and greenish yellow phlegm which seems to be due to lung infection/ bronchitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take it in a serious way. You should visit Pulmonologist once and get it examined. You should get X-ray chest done along with pulmonary function tests to find out exact level and extent of infection. You should take painkiller Ibuprofen along with cough expectorants. Avoid any cold, hot and spicy food and take diet rich in multivitamins. You should take steam inhalation as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
