What Causes Severe Chills And Tremors In Body?

I woke up this morning with sever chills and shaking, as if I had a very high fever, but I took my temperature and it was normal. I had to turn up the heat to 80 and wait about 45 minutes before they subsided enough to get up and shower. What could cause this?

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms generally happen in malaise phase if this is going to happens due to any infection, you need to wait for few hours if this is due to infection then you may likely to have fever, if something like that does not happened then this could be nonspecific and no need to worry about this, take care.
