What Causes Severe Coccyx Pain While Having Indigestion During Pregnancy?

Good Day,I am 7 months pregnant (30 weeks on Friday, 11.11.2016) Last week, i had gastro for about 1 day and then it went away.Last night i vomited again at about 8pm, then again at 11pm and then again at 1am this morning.I could not sleep thereafter and had a extreme pain in my tailbone (coccyx). This has not gone away. However i stand, sit or lay, the pain is there. Is this normal in a pregnancy? Is it dangerous for the pregnancy?

Hello,

It could be due to conditions like coccalgia.

Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
