What Causes Severe, Constant Headache With Dizziness Post Brain Injury?

I was in an ATV accident a year and a half ago with a brain injury, and my head is always hurting but this past week my head has got worse. The back of my head in the middle to the bottom really hurt and my head feels super hot but its not even that hot.. I have no idea why? I also feel very dizzy and nauseous some times because of this. Its starting to get really bad to where if it gets worse I m going to the ER. Why is my head hurting me so much?

Hi,

Constant severe headache with dizziness and nausea one and half years after a brain injury is a point of concern. Headache might also be accompanied by sound or light sensitivity, giddiness, nausea, and vomiting, irritability due to headache, sleep disturbances or mood problems.

Avoid triggering factors like long term use of phone or laptop, avoid watching TV or laptop in dim light, avoid seeing phone before sleep, sleep for at least 6-7 hours a day, drink plenty of water (2-3 liters) and taking meals on time. You can also take over the counter pain killers like paracetamol or ibuprofen for temporary relief.
