What Causes Severe Constipation After Taking Zanex?

I am a 75 year old woman and have been going through tests for silent reflux That was last week, I was told to take a Zanex at night, after 1 or 2 nights I developed constant constipation since last Saturday, I saw a Dr yesterday and was told what to eat to stop it and have orders to go to a lab for testing to see if there is any infection. Today I am having what seem like hot flashnes and a slight headache and I have to admit I have felt a little shaky on and off, Needless to say I am a bit concerned and I don t lknow much about the symtoms of stokes in women. Can you give me any of the symtons? Thank you

Brief answer : Yes , constipation is one of side effect of Tab.zanex(used for anxiety and panic disorder)
There are many variety of symptom of stroke depends and vary with individual , some are :
°Weakness /inability/difficulty of movement of the one side /both side of the body.

°Difficulty in talking

°Altered conciousness.

°Difficulty in eating
°Difficulty in vision
etc
Details answer : Tab.zanex is good medicine for anxiety and panic disoerder, but every medication having some side effect. Dont worry , if your problem like constipation , hot flush not releave , you can change this medication.These problems are not associated with stroke.
It is prescription based medicine , so, consult with your physician about your side effect of medication.
