General & Family Physician 's  Response
Constipation with pain in rectum has a few causes and treatment will depend on the cause. To find out the cause some tests will help. Tests are hb, tlc, dlc, esr, rectal swab for gonorrhea, C trochomatis, syphilis, lymphogranuloma venereum. Stool for ameobaisis.. Infectious causes must be distingushised from non infectious causes include, anal fissures, or fistulae, perirectal absceses and inflamatory bowel disease. As it will be better to consult a Gastroentrologist who is expert in dealing your case.
