hello, welcome to healthcaremagic

the symptoms of your grandson are suggestive of intestinal obstruction.
however, i would like to take a few more history like-
+duration/frequency/periodicity of symptoms.
+drug abuse history
+any recent surgery history
+stool frequencies
+history of hemetmesis/hemoptysis
the reason for this is most common cause of intestinal obstructions is adhesions post surgery.

however, i would like you to get following investigations done-
1. CECT abdomen
2. Xray chest/left lateral decubitus
3. barium meal follow through
4. liver function tests

please visit a nearby ER asap as its a serious condition.

hope this helps you.
I wish for your good health.
Please feel free to revert back in case of any more doubts/queries.
Thank you.
