What Causes Severe Constipation Followed By Hard Stools And Abdominal Pain?
Hi this is shanti, my daughter is suffering with constipation and passing hard stools. Some times she feel stomach pain. Earlier, pediatrician suggested Mucaine®Gel syrup. We used quite for some time. Later we stopped it. Shall we use it again for constipation? Please suggest.

I really appreciate your concern, less water intake, less fibber diet, not going to for defecation on regular basis could be the cause so it is advisable to encourage her for drinking water, give her more fibber diet encourage her for going for toilet even in absence of need to of it, hope this information helps.
