What Causes Severe Constipation Post Triple Bi-pass Surgery?
My husband is having trouble having bowel movements after a triple bi-pass surgery one month ago. He is having to take magnesium citrate to in order to have the bowels move. It has been three days now again. Will the anesthesia still be causing this to happen after surgery?

In view of your husband constipation following triple bypass surgery i am suggesting from my opinion that it may be partially anaesthetic effect but it is largely due to paralytic ileus
So in regards to this please get in touch with your physician to reassess his condition
So please continue with magnesium citrate
