What Causes Severe Constipation While On Oxycodone?

I am male 59 heavy smoker I have been feeling pretty I ll over the last two weeks I have also been constipated and I believe thats due to me taking oxycodone 5 mg prescribed by my doctor for chronic pain and sciatica. I have taken stool softener and laxatives and I am going somewhat but not Regla like I should be. My other symptoms awful like and spitting up a lot of phlegm . Stuffy nose and weakness.

Regarding your symptoms of constipation following intake of oxycodone I am suggesting yes it is one of the side effects of oxycodone it causes decrease in bowel motion
In addition to intake of stool softener and laxatives please take dietary fiber after meals
Meanwhile please see your physician for re-evaluation of your drug
