What Causes Severe Cough Along And Chest Congestion?

I first began coughing uncontrollably 3 months ago, then immediately got a bad cold, then started having major congestion/ coughing, and coughing up brown lung plugs - usually one or two a day. After they come up, I can breathe easier for a while, then it starts again. I ve been on 2 rounds of antibiotics, a CT scan says I have a right infiltrate - lower lobe, and I was unable to finish a 5 day round of prednisone - (I was swimming in my own secretions from this therapy) I continue to have terrible congestion and it feels as if there is a foreign body in my lungs.... Any thoughts about what might be going on?

it can be allergic bronchitis. consultpulmunologistforexamination of lung fields if sign-of bronchospasm then bronchodialaterlike deiphylin betaken. sputum forafbcanbedone if infiltrationoflowerlobeis detected then itis bronchitis and youhavealreadystartedantibiotic and steroid. you should have waited foradviseofdocter. steroid should not-have been started. youarehaving obstructive lung disorder. donot come to conclusion about diagnosis and start taking drugs. take advise from pulmunologist.
