What Causes Severe Cough Along With Pain In Breast?

I feel in a two feet of snow 24 degree weather and could not get up so I was yelling for my husband and then crawled till I could stand up. When I got back in the vehicle I began to cough so hard I tasted blood and felt like I was suffocating. Now I am still coughing hard and sore on right breast what could this be?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe cough along with pain in breast. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like chest infection , allergies , asthma , bronchitis or GERD. I would suggest you to consult chest specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray along with sputum test to rule out condition like breast cancer . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or penicillin along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist for asthma or gastroenterologist for acid reflux . For now apply warm compresses on chest , take steam , and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
