What Causes Severe Cough And Back Pain After Taking Prolia Injection?

I had my prolia shot (my 4th I think) three weeks ago. Imediately had worse cough I ever had, horrible back pain and leflt thigh pain to the point I can hardly walk. Im returning to Dr. today about this. Will PT help with this terrible back and left leg pain....or what will help. I think I m through with Prolia. The pain is not worth it. Joyce Jauch

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe cough and back pain after taking Prolia injection. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to side effects of prolia injection . Back pain , difficulty in breathing and check discomfort due to which cough occurring are typical side effects of prolia . I would suggest you to consult your doctor and discuss the condition . Doctor will evaluate the condition and treat according . For now do warm saline gargles and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
