What Causes Severe Cough And Burning Sensation In Chest?

I am sick and having strong coughing fits. my chest is burning, constantly... and it came on really fast. the strangest thing is that it is burning down into my breasts and it is really weird. especially in a coughing fit.I thought pneumonia would come on after weeks of being sick. not suddenly.
