What Causes Severe Cough And Hoarseness Of The Voice?
My son is 19yrs old and opened a cupboard at work that held lots of paint. He inhaled the fumes as soon as he opened the door. He said he coughed right then. Thru out last night coughed hard...sounds hoarse today and still coughing. Gave him Benadryl for two days. Any suggestions?

It may be due to laryngitis.
For that continue Saline or Betadine gargles twice a day.
Take steam inhalation.
You may require antibiotics after consultation.
Take proper rest and hygiene foods and water
