My husband has copd and emphysema, also has myltiple myeloma. He is coughing a lot and phlym is comming up. Is this ok or do I need to do something. He is on lots of medicans for the copd and emphysema also has oxygan. He can t even get to the bathroom with out getting out of breath. When he has the coughing spells he loses his breath and almost falls. Pleaser advise me on whar to do
In your case severe cough is mostly due to some sort of chest infection as already your husband is suffering from COPD and emphysema. For this you can give him some antibiotics like ampoxin or azithromycin after an expert opinion with levocetrizine or sneezy. For cough you can give him syrup ambrodil-s or syrup bro-zedex. Advice him to take steam inhalation also.
