What Causes Severe Coughing?
I have been coughing for a week now, the nurse practitioner says it is allergies but I feel it in my chest. Can t cough anything up. It sounds like something there, can t get a good nights sleep either. Have 3 prescriptions but doesn t seem to be helping.

Even after using medications if you are still having cough then you need to have a chest x ray done to know the exact cause. Cough more than 2 weeks must be investigated. If you were my patient I will suggest you to have sputum for AFB and sputum for culture and sensitivity.
