What Causes Severe Coughs While On Atenolol?
I had open heart in 2009. I was on prinavel which caused severe coughing. Then I was on Atenolol that caused severe reactions when I went in sun. Now I am on Amlopine and my ankles are very very painful. Which one of these poisons is best for someone that has had bypass surgery

The principal is ACE inhibitors and will certainly cause a cough.
Atenolol has adverse effects of skin rashes.
Amlodipine has no adverse effects like a cough or skin rashes and also safe for you.
