What Causes Severe Cramping And Chills On The First Day Of My Menses?

I did not want to get my children out of bed and in an we if I can prevent it. I started my period today and I'm cramping worse than ever. I have chills, and suck at my stomach. I also have like a floating feeling kind of dizzy. I am 32 have had 2 c sections, my gallbladder removed and an abortion when young. Should I go to a we or do you think this is normal enough to wait till tomorrow?
