What Causes Severe Cramps And Diarrhea?

I am 79 yrs old and have always had a sensitive colon and have flare ups occasionally have severe cramps where the pain is so bad I have passed out followed by dirraha and for yrs have taken oscimin .125mg when I have an episode! I was told by a friend that she takes Bentyl to avoid this! This is my question.

might be having ulcerative cholitis which is autoimune disorder.sulfasal thiazine can be tried, no definite medication is available. symptomatic treatment can be tryed. aminosalicylate may be effective.radical surgery with removal of cholon and separate outlet of stool with collection beg can be tried.
