General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Cramping is often caused by one of three problems, not enough water, not the correct vitamins or electrolytes, or not enough stretching. Make sure that you are drinking plenty of water and avoid things that are dehydrating like caffeine or alcohol. Take a multivitamin/multimineral daily and be sure to stretch well before and after tennis.
Taking yoga classes can really help you to learn good stretches
Regards
