My daughter s dad was diagnosed with bipoalr disorder & has had 2 major manic episodes since January. His case was reported to Child Social Services and my daughter and i were to live somewhere else until he could become stable. For my Daughter s safety........He s currently in a psychiatric facility.i feel pretty stressed..and i want to know what i can do to cope...i feel like no one understands and like ill be judged.
I think you should understand the situation because he is suffering an illness as many illnesses in our body. As different organs can get I'll the brain can't function properly also. The bipolar disorder can get treated getting better and having remissions and exacerbations. Having frequent contact with psychiatrist is advisable.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
