What Causes Severe Diarrhea Inspite Of Giving ORS And Gnorm In Infants?
Hi I m mother of a 7 month old baby girl, from last 2 days my baby is having diarrhea. yesterday pediatrics given ORS solution and Gnorm, but still my baby is having severe diarrhea and not drinking water also. Should i consult a doctor immediately. Only 2 doses of Gnorm has given until now.

Probiotics and an oral rehydration solution will help to prevent the child from getting dehydrated which is really important at this point in time. But if your child is continuing to have diarrhea and is not consuming any liquids then it is indeed important for you to visit a doctor and possibly even get your child admitted for intra-venous fluid administration.
