General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Dysmen is a used for menstrual cramps. It contains Mefenamic acid and Dicyclomine which helps in relieving menstrual pain and abdominal cramps. The common side effects are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, sleepiness, diarrhea, weakness. This should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset.

Drink plenty of water and take adequate rest and try to use heating pad for menstrual pain. If diarrhea is persisting, seek medical advice. Kindly visit a gynecologist, so that they might advice alternatives.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks.
