What Causes Severe Dizziness After Taking Gabapentin?
0 side affects of gabapentin/neurotin. I took my first one last night about 10 pm, went to bed, but when I awoke during the night I was extremely dizzy, when I woke early about 6:30 am today, not only was I dizzy but was in lol lol land. I got better as the day went on, but it is near time for bed again, thought if I took the pill about 6 pm tonight, it might be worn off so I could drive to church Sunday about 9:00 am. Perhaps I need to take the pill about 6 pm, so I am more alert in the morning, as I must go back to work Monday 8 am. what are your thoughts.

Gabapentin has typical side efeect causing giddiness and drousiness. Generally they fade as you continue to use the drug. If they do not go away even after 5-7 days of taking the drug continually, it is better to switch to alternative drugs after consulting your doctor.
