What Causes Severe Dizziness And Diarrhoea?

My husband just woke up from a nap and stumbled into the bathroom saying he is very dizzy and feels like he is going to throw up and have diahreea. He wen. His face looksgreyt to the bathroom and stumbled into bed and told me to get a towel to throw up and another towel to put under him in case he can,t get to the bathroom for diahreeaHis face looks grey and he seems to week to talk. What should I do?

Hello..Welcome to HCM.

I am Dr Jigar(ID specialist).

You should take him immediately to hospital/emergency department. Till that time give him oral fluids.

As his symptoms suggest severe dehydration he needs urgent infusion of fluids. After this i suggest go for stool microscopy and culture test for identification of culprit organism. After which specific therapy may be given.
