What Causes Severe Dizziness, Diarrhea And Vomiting?

Hello my husband is a kidney patient on dialysis. He is experiencing some severe dizziness. He had diarrhea and vomiting for the last two days. those symptoms have subsided however he is still having some bad dizziness. He did try to go to work today and almost drove into a ditch. He did return home but was not able to go to work. He is also not having an appetite. Can you help me with some of this please?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe dizziness, diarrhea and vomiting, Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like heat exhaustion , panic attack , low blood sugar or iron , food poisoning and transient ischemic attack. Sometimes it can also occur due to condition of ear like meniere's disease or acoustic neuroma. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor my check vital , order blood test , take history and order ECG . Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist or cardiologist if he/she find problem to be related with ear or heart disease . For now take proper rest , drink plenty of water , avoid food like seafood and nuts , do not bend forward and take benadryl twice a day .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
