What Causes Severe Dizziness, Ringing In The Ears And Body Imbalance?

My wife is having severe dizziness, ringing in both ears, and unbalance when getting up from bed, moving head in the bed, and getting up from sitting position. She is 75 years old and has type 2 diabetes for about 25 years. She is on insulin pump. She is also started taking Trzodone for sleeping about a month ago.
