What Causes Severe Dizziness, Tingling Sensation In Face And Headache?

Hi, I have been having extreme dizziness with a rolling tinging sensation throughout my whole face on both sides. I have also been having headaches that last for hours or all day, with no relief from consuming water, caffeine, or acetaminophen. Sometimes my left leg will go numb and my feet burn, and my hands will tingle from time to time. What do you think is causing these symptoms? I was thinking it could be DM T2 or meniere s or both?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Diabetes Mellitus II may be asymptomatic in many patients or cause non-specific symptoms. Every time you are worried you may have it, it is best to have a fasting blood glucose check. This is an easy, readily available and cheap test that will help rule diabetes out.
Meniere generally causes vertigo (as if the room spins), hearing loss and blocked ears, which does not seem to be your case.

Very likely you are having anxiety and depression causing dizziness, tingling, and headaches but a good visit with your doctor to rule out other important conditions is important. A thorough physical examination (including neurological exam) and some blood tests may be needed as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
