What Causes Severe Dry Cough After Taking Meloxicam?
Hello, Meloxicam is safe if used for a few days only. Take antacids after meals. A dry cough is due to increased hyperacidity of the stomach. Coumadin is aggravating such problems. Immediate consultation with a gastroenterologist and run upper endoscopy to rule out stomach ulcer. Do not forget to use antacids meanwhile. Drink plenty of water. Avoid oily chilly spicy foods. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
