What Causes Severe Dryness And Redness In Eyelids?
Hello, I have obstructed oil glands in my eyelids. My eyes are always severely dry, sore and red. Prescription drops do not ease the pain. This is interfering with my work and life in general every day. How can I somehow increase the oil production in these glands? The optometrists have not been a help. They have no answer to relieve the pain and damage it is doing to my eyeballs. Thank you. P

Symptomatic relief can be obtained with the use of artificial tears drops. But it is very important to find the cause. So get yourself examined by the opthalmologist , if required he may refer you to physician for further investigation.
