What Causes Severe Ear Pain After Descending From Flight?
Hi I experience severe ear pain everytime I fly, upon decent. I'm terrified to swallow or make them pop because that is horribly painful. last time there was a high pitch squeaking sound like air forced through a tiny hole. What causes this and can it be remedyed? my head even hurts ti the touch around my ears

YOu must consult an ENT specialist and get examined.
You have probably eustachian tube dysfunction ie the tube which connects middle part of ear to the back of nose.
When the tube is not able to equalise the pressure difference during ascent or descent then such problem arises.
YOu need to take decongestant drops and tablets.
Even steroid tablets help a lot.
