What Causes Severe Esophagitis?
long term side effects of PPI are there . considering your health status long term side effects are insignificant. magnesium, calcium ,B12 absorption may be affected. but very rare. I suggest you to continue the treatment with omeprazole. hernia extent must be noted to know the severity. periodic monitoring of your magnesium may be needed. hence I advice you to consult with available physician preferably gastroenterologist. He will do the needful for your health. regular followup is must for you . hope I answered your questions in a simple way. if you have further questions I will be here to help you
