What Causes Severe Eye Twitching In A Patient With Elevated WBC Count?

Have had elevated white blood cell count for over a year. My PCP hasn t been concerned until my test on Monday when the number was 12,500. He wants to repeat the test. I have just developed severe left eye twitching for the past two weeks ( not sure if related). I am always very tired and have chronic pain from being ejected through my car window 17 years ago. Why is he now worried about the test when he has not seemed concerned over the past year?

eye twitching and eve infection are 2 different words and the reasons for both are also different. If u want to correlate WBC count and eye infection it is ok. there is increase in wbc count in eye infection but not with eye twitching. eye twitching may be due to some nerve supply of Ocular muscle or it may be due to eye muscle demage,,,, for further detail investigation detail investigation like mri or other test suggested by opthalmologist,,,,,
