Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is 73, he broke his hip and femur on 9/15/17 and was progressing slowly. However, now he is getting so weak that I can hardly get him up. He barely can shuffle to the bathroom or bed with a lot of help. Can you think of anything that would cause this.
After hip and femur fracture, which operation has been done that I want to know. Post fracture arthritis or nonhealing of fracture can be the possibility. Local part x-ray can be done for further work up. According to reports and full clinical history, a further comment can be given.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
