Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Fatigue Along With Sinusitis And Bronchitis?
I have been fatigued for many years now. Had ITB, hep c , but cured. Now keep having severe fatigue and keep having on going upper sinus and broncos infection. Can t get rid of it. Now keep sore throat and sore ear pain with fatigue. My blood work says I m fine though. What should I do. Having a hard time focusing too. Very foggy mined. .
Sorry to hear about your problem. If your all blood work and examination is normal, you may be suffering from fibromyalgia and/or chronic fatigue syndrome.
This can also cause sore throat , depression, and disturbed sleep. These are all part of the same syndrome.
However, before putting it to fibromyalgia, or chronic fatigue syndrome, we should first do a complete workup including extensive lab tests to rule out other causes of such symptoms.
These include workup for thyroid, celiac disease, metabolic workup, and a lot more. so yo can discuss this with your doctor for proper management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
