Hi Dr. I am 67 years old and have fibromyalsia and oseoarthristis . The last two weeks in have developed weakness in my legs, hips, arms and hands. My muscles feel very fatiqued. My Dr. just had my take and blood test that had something to do with the enzymes. I thought I was having the worst fibro flare up ever. Can you tell me anything about these symptoms? Suzanne

Hello Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' Service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Fibromyalgia is the functional kind of disease and it is not the pure kind of pathological illness, so try to come out of the stress, try to be happy, you can even try some aerobic exercise, with the age such functional disorders may aggravates the symptoms of joint pain and muscular pain, you can try Cymbalta with some vitamin supplements but try to come out the anxiety and depression if you ever have it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtar Husain
